Mrs. Janice Barry
Mrs. Barry is a Presentation Academy graduate and native of Louisville! Mrs. Barry received her degree in Education from Bellarmine University; her Master’s degree from the University of Louisville. Before coming to Saint Leonard, Mrs. Barry was a preschool teacher for eight years at Saint Matthews Preschool, and has been a Religion Teacher (grades 4 – 8) in the Louisville Archdiocese for a total of 19 years (this is her 17th year at Saint Leonard as our Religious Education Coordinator).
Mrs. Barry is a Master Catechist and has been since 2007 and is a “Sacristan” at Our Lady of Lourdes Church – has also taught evening Religion Classes there. Mrs. Barry is married and has three grown children. She enjoys walking, reading and playing Bunco with friends and loves her job!
