Arts and Environment Committee

The Arts and Environment Committee participates in planning an attractive and appropriately decorated worship space during the entire liturgical year. This involves the special seasons of Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Advent, and Christmas, but also each week of Ordinary Time. From Pentecost through the autumn, we arrange live seasonal flowers behind the altar. This entails both cutting the flowers and arranging the fresh flowers. Various talents are always needed, such as hauling items to and from storage, climbing ladders, hanging decorations, arranging and cutting fresh flowers, and much more!
