Greetings from the people of St. Frances of Rome!
We are a small community with a big heart, and we would like you to know that you are welcome here. We would love it if you found a spiritual home in our community.
We have been here on Payne Street since 1887 as a community of worship and prayer; a community that reaches out to serve those in need in our neighborhood and our city; a community that passes on our many gifts through our faith formation programs, outreach opportunities, and care for one another. In all that we do, we seek to make Christ as present for our neighborhood, and our city as he is in the sacrament of the Eucharist, which is the center of who we are.
We invite you to join with us in this work of being disciples. Whatever your present status in the Catholic Church, whatever your current family or marital situation, whatever your personal history, age, background, race, color, sexual orientation, whatever your self-esteem . . . know that you are invited, welcomed, accepted, loved, and respected by the Catholic community of St. Frances of Rome Parish.
