Let Us Give Thanks
Every day of our lives, we have something to be thankful to God for. Even when everything feels like it’s crumbling down around us, God IS there, walking with us. Loving us, looking out for us. Take some time these next couple of weeks as we prepare for guests, cook the big feast, or deal with the craziness of the grocery or Black Friday shopping, to be grateful for His blessings. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude for the things you have. The roof over your head, the food on your table, the friends and family that have impacted your life, both living and passed, and of course, the Eucharist! All of those are gifts from God. Be thankful and rejoice.
Know that others too, are blessed through their experiences with you and our parish. Fr. Johnson still stays in touch, and recently wanted to say thank you again to our parish for the blessings you have bestowed on others in need. The financial gift you gave towards his water project still continues to bare fruit, and bring smiles and comfort to those in need.
