It’s Not the Heat. It’s the Humidity. Actually it’s BOTH!
An update from last week’s post on the painting project for the exterior of the house at St Frances of Rome. The original plan was to begin prep work and paint this week. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has cranked up the heat as I’m sure you all have experienced first hand. As a result, it’s not just too hot to paint, it’s too humid as well. In this kind of weather, the humidity has an effect on the paints’ ability to cure to the surface. So this week, the paint company has stopped by to match up the paint to the building, and prepare all the behind the scenes prep work with an intention of beginning as soon as the weather permits. We will keep you all updated as the project progresses. In the meantime, we will keep watering the landscape to help it cope with the weather, and look forward to the next leaps of progress towards our beautiful campus upgrade.
