Are you aware that each weekend liturgy requires at least 14 ministry volunteers per mass? Between the parishes, this calculates to 70 volunteers a weekend, 280 people each month. These numbers do not even include the weekday ministers and numerous volunteers who clean the linens and church each week. Additionally, back in March, Archbishop Shelton announced that the Archdiocese will reinstate permission to distribute the Precious Blood to the faithful from the Chalice at masses beginning the weekend of June 10th and 11th. This offering will require even more liturgical ministers to assist at masses. With these liturgical requirements, WE NEED EVERYONE’S HELP to serve the faithful and this is only ONE area of our parish ministries.
Another example of parish need is the return of your January Membership surveys. The current results are:
St. Frances of Rome has received 35%. That’s 120 of the 340 mailed forms.
St. Leonard has received 34% That’s 78 of the 228 mailed forms.
PLEASE HELP US! If you have misplaced your form, please contact your parish office-Suzann McGarvey (SFR) 896-8401, or Allison Deaton (SL) 897-2595.
